Common questions
What It Costs to Get It Sorted
Is the quote really free?
Yes. Coming out, assessing the job and giving you a fixed number costs nothing, whether or not you go ahead with the repair afterward.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. $0 call-out applies to every job, day or night, and it doesn't change based on the hour you call.
What does the $65 off your first service cover?
New customers get $65 taken off their first job with us, on top of the $0 call-out and the fixed price you're quoted beforehand.
What payment options do you offer?
We keep this simple and confirm the details with you directly when the quote's agreed, so there's nothing hidden or assumed upfront. Whatever suits you on the day is generally fine by us.
Common questions
Who's Responsible for What
Can you check my licence number?
Yes. NSW Plumbing Licence #465156C is ours, and the register at verify.licence.nsw.gov.au will confirm it in seconds.
Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?
Your own line, from the house to where it connects to the street, is yours and ours to fix. Once it crosses into the street main, that's Sydney Water's line, not ours.
What is your lifetime labour warranty?
Our workmanship stays covered indefinitely. Should something we fixed give out due to our own error, putting it right falls to us, not you.
Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?
Small things, like shutting off the water at the meter or popping a bucket under a drip, are safe and sensible. Anything involving cutting pipework, gas, or a fixture disconnection needs a licensed plumber under NSW rules, no matter how confident you feel with a spanner.
Common questions
When We Can Come
What happens after I call?
A real person takes your details, we work out how urgent it is together, and a licensed plumber gets sent your way with a fixed quote to follow once they've assessed it.
Are you really available 24/7?
Yes, genuinely. The phone gets answered by an actual person at 3am the same as it does at 3pm.
How fast can you get here?
An exact time down to the minute isn't something we'll promise, since traffic and job length both play a part. Same-day is the standard we hold ourselves to wherever it's genuinely achievable.
How do I book?
Call (02) 9073 7962, or use the contact page if you'd rather send the details through first and have us call you back.
Common questions
The Schofields Questions
Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?
Yes. With so much of Schofields still being built out, new-build snagging and renovation plumbing are a regular part of what we do here.
How local are you, really?
Schofields and its neighbouring suburbs are where we spend most of our week, not somewhere we occasionally stretch into for a one-off job.
Do you handle strata and units in Schofields?
Yes. Townhouses near the station precinct come with shared stacks and communal hot water setups, on top of the standalone houses everywhere else, and we work on both regularly.
Why do Schofields's older homes get plumbing emergencies?
Pockets from the 1980s and 2000s building waves have simply had long enough for original fittings and pipe runs to wear out, and a whole street built together tends to hit that point in the same few years.
